About the Website

Created as a part of the Digital History Class at the University of Mary Washington, this website provides internet users with the ability to interact digitally with objects from the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library. The website features 3D laser scans of the objects, video interviews about the objects, and information from the object files. We invite parents, educators, researches, and students to explore the website by interacting with the 3D museum objects online and watching videos about each object. We look forward to seeing at the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library in downtown Fredericksburg, VA where you can see the objects for yourself up close and personal.
